Ludo with two dice for adding practice
Played with our wooden shapes and tried making hexagons out of 1, 2, 3 etc individual pieces (try these)
Watched some gorgeous geometry videos (Notes on a Triangle and Hoberman spheres)
Listened to Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf narrated by David Bowie while I got lunch ready
Multiplication by Heart, followed by some times tables songs—Numberblocks (ugh) and Victor Johnson (much less grating)
Chalk drawing outside and painting inside
Squirrels and Beavers (Tiger Cubs) and mental maths
Bedtime stories: Stuart Little and Chess for Children
