In brief today. We had Athletics Club this morning, and a visit from family this afternoon, so there’s not much to report. The usual morning work went rather well today, although sadly I have no idea why so have no way of replicating it.
But I wanted to post anyway because we received a gift today of this book, which I think is rather good:
Here are some of the questions:
Why are plants green?
Why don’t spiders stick to their webs?
Who invented music?
When were the first houses built?
Why does the Universe keep expanding?
And they’ve got experts to answer some of the questions, like theoretical physicist Jim Al-Khalili and oceanographer Helen Czerski. It would make a great gift. Apparently it’s good for ages 5-8, but I quite want to read it through myself this evening.
No post tomorrow because we have a special family day planned and it has been declared a No Work Day.
Have a great weekend!

We love this book. The podcast saw us through 2020 too.
I bought this book last week! So good.
