I’ve not homeschooled yet, as my oldest is 2, but this is basically how I planned when I was teaching high school! It’s very very helpful

I was curious if you could take a picture of what the plan looks like especially the week/day ones. I like the idea of one page too.

Sure, I’ve just added some photos to the bottom of the post. Hope it’s helpful. It looks a bit of a mess but it works for me!

Thanks for sharing your process! We are at the beginning of our homeschool journey as my daughter just started kindergarten this week. I like how you break down your planning process into annual, term, and weekly plans. I think that's a good level of big-picture and detailed thinking, and I appreciate how you allow for revision along the way.

Would you be willing share what your plan notes look like? We've just returned home and I'm organizing the rest of the year and feeling a bit overwhelmed. I feel the 'travel' school curriculum is very different to plan from the 'home' school curriculum! Definitely appreciate the inspiration to get organized :-)

I’ve sent you some notes, but I’m not sure they’re very inspirational! I was vaguely thinking about doing a post about what my actual plan looks like for this year. But I’ll have to finish the plan first…!

Thank you!!! Yes, I've started planning, but it's so easy to get stuck between over-ambitious and impossible.... Hard to find that balance!

This is so similar to how I plan, although as our library isn't terribly well stocked I add a bit more detail at the annual stage so that I can start to allocate budget for any books I feel are a must for that topic and the library can't get hold of.

I just love Malcolm Gladwell on the random things he’s chosen to rant about, including endowments!

This is so similar to how I plan and prepare! We loosely follow a Charlotte Mason curriculum from the US, but I tend to ‘wing it’ depending on the season and moods as the year goes on.
