Thank you for sharing the excellent video and also the quotes! I don’t make time to read much on here, but I rarely miss your posts as they are full of gems.

Reading about how you remain hopeful and creative and do the next thing even when things go awry, seeing how you pivot without despairing, seeing how you maintain a good sense of humor--- these are all gifts to people like me who is also in the trenches. And thank you for sharing those Bleak House quotes!

Susie that comment was almost too much for me! My husband might raise an eyebrow at the idea that I maintain a good sense of humour though… 😉 I’m SO pleased you find it all useful and encouraging - that’s exactly why I started this in the first place - and thank you so much for taking the time to let me know. So often when I mention something here a reader gets in touch to say “me too!” - it’s so nice to know we’re all in it together and often experiencing the same things.

Thank you for sharing. I am always curious about others homeschool days. We also got back into it today -- no air pumping or excessive groaning here either! But... we've also only achieved math so far. ◡̈

Well I think if you only achieve one thing, math is a pretty good thing for it to be! It’s rather nice, in homeschooling, that we can get back into it with just one subject if that’s what works for us. If we’d gone back to ‘real’ school today we’d have had the usual full Tuesday timetable whether we liked it or not - back to reality with a bump!

It's certainly our least favorite, so a good one to get out of the way too!
