I love reading these, thank you! And all your posts in fact. I'm a year behind you with a 6yo and 4yo (and 1yo!) So loads of great ideas. Where do you get your book recommendations from?

Oh that’s so nice to hear, thank you! I am a book obsessive, especially children’s books. I just love browsing online and in bookshops and libraries. I can go very far down that rabbit hole! I recently read Lucy Mangan’s book ‘Bookworm’ which had great fiction suggestions for my two.

I did Eloise Rickman’s A Beautiful Education course a few years ago and part of the course is a list of book and resource recommendations across all subjects, which is really useful. I’d recommend the course.

Good luck with your three!

I've just finished ABE and I'm still obsessing over the resources lists. Fantastic. My family are beginning to despair at the library reservations arriving home! I really actually got Bookworm on my shelf unread, so I shall pull that down to take a look too. Thank you!

Lovely! What a great day they had. Varied and fun and lots learned along the way. Greek first thing in the am sounds a little intimidating but if that’s what they are into then that’s what it needs to be. You must be a bit knackered ! Time to put your feet up!

Thank you Alice! The Greek isn’t as intimidating as it sounds—I just write the name in Greek on the blackboard the night before and it’s a little challenge for them the next day. Gets the day off to a good start. They’re not translating Homer before breakfast… yet…
